Dear Vanna K;

You must get letters like this every day. How satisfying it must be to make so many women your own age so happy! Here’s my Vanna K engagement ring story:

Patrick and I started dating when I was 14 and he was 16. Even at that young age, I knew we had something really special.

This past summer, after I turned 20, Patrick and I went to a campsite his family owns for one last getaway before we moved back to campus for the school year.

When we got to the camp, Patrick wouldn't let me help with anything. I just thought he was being sweet. After dimming the lights he prepared my favorite meal and began to tell me how much he loved me and how we had so many great memories together and that what he wanted most was a lifetime more of them. Suddenly, he turned the lights back on and there was a beautiful ring in an open box right in front of me. I shrieked and started crying. He came over to me with the most loving look on his face, gave me a hug, and asked, "Will you marry me?" I looked him right in the eye and said "YES!!!"

Vanna…it was one of your rings that he gave me. Thanks for being so good at what you do, and in a not-so-strange way, you’ll always be a part of our little family!
